Thank you for being a part of this community. You can post about your respective campuses, blogs and other things related to the Campus Correspondents. There is an introduction thread here, so make sure you post about yourself to let us know who you are! There will be frequent updates and announcements on the forums, so make sure you check it on a regular basis.
To start a new topic: Go to the appropriate section and click on the "New Topic" on the left hand corner.
To reply to an existing topic: Open the topic and choose reply at the left hand corner at the bottom, or use the quick reply box. You can also "Quote" a particular post if you want to reply to that specific post. You also have an option to 'Preview" your posts before actually posting them.
You can reply with Smileys and Emotions to make your posts look colorful and express yourself better. To see a complete list of emoticons, click on "Post Reply" button on the left hand corner after opening a topic. Editing/Deleting your post: Once you made a post, you can edit it using the edit option on the right hand side of your post. You can also choose to delete the post by clicking the X sign near the edit button.
To post pictures along with your post: Use the formula
in your post. The "url" here needs to be replaced with a direct link to the picture. If you have a picture in your hard disk and want to upload it for this forum, you can go to any image hosting website like
http://imageshack.us/ or
www.photobucket.com (you need to make an account at photobucket), upload pictures from your computer and use the url here!
To change your profile: Go to profile in the top bar and change settings.
To edit Signatures: You can choose your own signature, which will be posted each time you make a reply! You can go to Your Profile and choose Signature just above the "Registration Information" section.
To choose and Avatar: Go to your profile. Click Avatar just above the "Registration Information" section, choose an image from your computer or paste a link from a website!
Send a Private Message (PM): You can send a Private Message (PM) to anyone on the forum. Go to messages on top and click on "New Post". Choose a username to whom you want to send your (PM)
