A COMMON THEME

Hi all.....

i am sure all of us here are having a great time.....
people are writing wonderful blogs ,,,, are actively blogging....
Simply fantastic....

we are all contributing in our own ways.....adding varied stuff on the website....but i was just wondering why not we all also work on one theme, one theme that is commom to all.....

what say?????????

and now with correspondents coming from other states as well [C18 is expanding right????] let every body know that dilli and dilli correspondents are simply the best,,,,....


so why not a photo feature on SADDI DILLI!!!!!!

This is a great idea! Once the correspondents from other cities get on board, there lies a stiff competition ahead for Delhi Correspondents! This means that you guys need to keep it going and going strong in order remain ahead in the race. I was considering dividing the forum into different sections, like a city-wise break-up. We will soon have mentors from different cities moderating the forum belonging to their respective cities. Our Delhi Chapter has grown fast and our numbers are still rising.. so this idea sounds cool to me.

What sort of a Photo-feature are you planning anyway?

Well hi vineet..i think we should put up pics of old as well as new delhi.people should know about the capital of India --saddi dilli...we can divide it into old and new delhi.former will include pics and descriptions of monuments, old temples, mosques, gurudrawas like bangla sahib, shees ganj etc. karims (at jama masjid),antique shops, parathe wali gali and panawala at chandani chowk. And latter will include 'transformed' dilli with swanky malls, discs, metro trains so on and so forth..

oye pragya...love the idea..i sooo love photography these days...i mght just have some interesting pictrues already...but will have to scan them...will do that once am done with mah GRE..

yeah niki..even i have some really interesting pics...i love visiting historical places and have loads of pics..will get it scanned for C18..will capture minute details as well...

but novices like me who are not that adept with handiling the teeny-weeny gizmo can work in other way!!!!
My suggestion -
is that you post the pictures and nerd at photography ppl like me..can add beautiful one-liners to it..or simply a crisp and awesome explanations to it!!!!!!!!!!!

i think swati has added just the right thing to it..one liners.pictures have their own language..but so have wors..in fact out of the delhi correspondents.we can make groups so as to get this work in action..like pragya and nikhita have volunteered..we too can make small groups n sort of organize the wurk..wt say swati.....

But that is what we already are doing at the 'Reply Section' remember guyiz?? Ting tong? Hello?
The Reply Section is meant for all those "crispy explanations" so what's so conspicuously new about it?

My Answer: Nothing.

I feel Ankita's top-floor rang pretty nice at this:

This way we could have separate teams photo-reporting on separate regions in Delhi (for Delhi correspondents). And likewise our dudies from out side Dilli can work on their respective cities and come up with stories their photgraphs will tell.

And and and, after that we all pool in the photographs from different cities and ask the C18 Team-managers to get them published in print (as they did mention at the intro-meet last weekend).

Since the enthu is only surging by every post and we are hell bent on making Delhi rank highest amongst all cities functioning with C18, it's time for some neat action

After a little chit chat with some correspondents, this is how we proceed with the 'Respective City Photo-feature'


1. EQUIPMENT is the need of the hour:

All those dudies who got cameras and cell phones rusting inside carry bags, take 'em out

NEXT: We need to check how many of these gears we have since that calls for the next step - Alloting teams.

2. Alloting Teams:
Teams can be decided on whichever basis
a) Place of residence (how near you reside to each other
b) Convenience in mode of travelling (like I'm pretty adept at commuting on the bus. Likewise you too decide for your self
c) Other criteria
3. Tasking:

We'll have
a) Photographers and
b) Writers, blogging/photo-blogging on the Forum.

TOPIC: Delhi -The City

In case the majority of us decide on tripping collectively THAN GROUPING, we'd go ahead with that plan of action too

B-U-T, that way we'd obviously lose out on the most part of the city since all would cover the same sites and information
So, CHOOSE_______________________________________________________
