Smoker or non smoker

hmmm..... d reasons seem pretty lame........ but dey all true....
alot of dem smoke jus 2 fit in....
tryin 2 change d minds of smokers is gonna b completely mental..... but y wud dey wanna ruin their lives 2 look cool!!

I like smoking...as simple as that. There doesn't have to be a deep psychological reason to it. Yes, it is unhealthy but so is fast food, alcohol etc. It's just a life choice..or an eventual death choice if you want to look at it that way.

@chiggs...obviously you don care about what happens to you if you smoke...your call...but your saying that others should wear masks to cover their faces because you want to smoke is ridiculous...if you have a smoky chimney at home causing you to cough do you do something about the source or sit there with a towel wrapped around your face...not feasible right...so if you are causing the pollution its better you go to some place where there are less people around and smoke your lungs out...and by the way i am not advocating eating junk food but it does not cause cancer and reduce reproductive efficiency in men...now its up to you...choose....

i think all i can do is pity you....i mean jus becasue you smoke doesn't really mean u'll let the world be harmed bacause of you....

sir, you are educated enough to know wat's wrong for u and wat's right..wat harms your body and wat does not..it's totally ur call!! but, here we are talking about people who take into smoking, not knowing about it's after effects...u see the rickshawwallahs smoking...do u think they know how many years will that beedi take away from their life??? no they don't..and it is our duty as the enlightened youth of the country to spread as much awareness as possible...and not just sit here saying wat the heck can WE do about it...sir WE CAN DO A LOT if we want to!!! we can atleast tell them about the harm smoking causes, and then they take a decision....

Smoking is indeed a bad thing...having read alot of articles in various
newspapers and magazines, i wont be wrong to generalize that Smoking is
not even a Fashio-statement any longer...its being a "cool" thing is
passe...and surely this a very good thing...

It is justified for those who dont know its harmfull effects, however
those who KNOW that smoking is injurious to health and STILL SMOKE, and
even try to JUSTIFY it, can never be called EDUCATED!!!

up to them and just start blabbing about the effects of smoking??? is
that feasible?

thanks for appreciating my point somya....i know i don't have a plan for the same, but for sure if we think, we can come out with a way!

i usually do this with auto wallahs who are smoking wen am travelling...i start coughing, and most of them put it off the very instant..and then i tell then that smoking one cigarette can harm you in a big way..obviously, i don't expect him to understand it there and then and quit smoking...but at least i put that point in his mind..if not anything else, he won't at least smoke wen customers are in the auto too...but i still think that's a small beginning...

i tell all the taxi walla's that it causes impotency...maybe an exaggeration of facts but works...even those who have kids already get startled...no men want to lose firepower....he he...

u think today's generation aint aware of the harmful effects of smoking?? as a matter of factly, the smokers can u tell more about its harmful causes than u can even imagine!
someone very close to me was operated for a tumour in the neck cuz of smoking(30years of smoking!).. seeing that also i dint quit.. cuz its really hard to quit!

i would love to quit but i cant..
Cigs catch ur soul n control ur mind! even stupid nico patches dont seem to work!!

if we all want to make some difference n help the smokers then its better to find such thing which helps them quit !

sir..fortunately or unfortunately, "today's generation" does not consist only of people like you and me, who know the precise harmful effects of smoking...there are other illiterate people too out there who do it for reasons more than just addiction!
