Pearl harbor!

Was watching the movie pearl harbors today friends, though I only watched abt the last 45 minutes of the movie, I liked it. A very thought provoking movie, and indeed I was provoked to blog.All these years we were taught, how the japs attacked USA and the americanos ended the war with two atom bombs. The might of America saved the world. On second thoughtsÂ…Â…I wonder if those Bombs were really necessary. True the Japanese attacked firstÂ…..but it was a War, a worldwar, and the japs had attacked a military base, the pearl harbor. Sinking American battleships and destroying their fighter planes. A normal war process. And, what the Americans did, Almost wiped off the entire population of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, civiliansÂ…..mothersÂ…grandmothersÂ….kids..infantsÂ…still unborneÂ’s, majority of the population killed might not have even touched a gun in their life. And the history books the world over taught us to thank USA. Pearl harbor was perhaps the only instance in the history where America was attacked in its mainland, and look at the way the USA retaliated. Killing millions of innocentsÂ….and I have heard people there still suffer from the effect of those horrible bombs. America couldnÂ’t tolerate a small sting on its arm. I also wonder how their stand changes when it comes to other countries. India has been suffering greatly due to Pakistan since its independence. Direct War and terrorist activities. And the great American peace making presidents want us to practice tolerance, refrain from retaliatingÂ…Â…

Actually America behaves like the famous Dr.jekyl and Mr hyde.A great nation with a great population, but very very dirty leaders.Almost all the worst weapons designd and developed by them.They poke their nose everywhere,be it Vietnam or Korea or Iraq or afganistan or panama Â…Â…the world .Mind you friends I am not any anti America activistÂ….just a normal man, reacting on second thoughts after an American movie. I am not that strong with a pen,perhaps blessed souls like the three angels, or saakshi or ghost or the bronze goddess or myna or guru or sue or mari or stacy or freudÂ…Â…Â….would have written it better.They still can.
