| Just the blue sky
The world is breaking and shattering into pieces,
Every one around seem to be unaware of the crises!
Oh! Some one save the humanity, wipe the cries, tears,and pain
The scream of the good and concerned - all in vain!
Love, care, patience, hug, laughter, smile of a child...
All the good, beautiful and best seem to have gone crazy and wild!
The best you and I can do is to beg and pray to you (God)
One day I will wake up and surely find the sky not smoky but blue!
Amidst the chaos...
Amidst the chaos of life, in this enigmatic world,
When you just do not want to panic or be sad,
When you just do not want to be made a fool of,
When you just do not want to be annoyed...
Amidst the chaos of life, in this enigmatic world,
When you just want to come off the bleak path,
When you just want to be in a hilarious, blissful mood,
When you just want to chuckle, grin and smile away...
Just stay by a person who is adorable, affable and nice
who is funny, naughty, foolish and wise.
It is none other than your very sweet best friend,
With whom the fun and laughter would never end!
Wrote both poems when I was in school.
You know how it is when kids learn new words, they just want to use and it in every damn sentence and show off their new vocab. That's exactly the phase I was going through. The second poem was a birthday gift to my best friend in school. Love you Rocky! You still are my 'bestest' friend!
