Kolkata- Bhalo Acche (July 6, 2007)

Rains, water-logging, traffic jams....but 'they' still made it!!! It was a gloomy afternoon on July6, 2007 but the Campus18 meet changed it all (It didn't really rain after that....no more water logging...less of traffic...hehehe;) ). It was absolute fun...Different people, different opinions and great interaction!!! Campus18?? What is it?? How will we be a part of it?? Can we invite our friends....many questions, many apprehensions...though answered can now be viewed on the forum....
It was great to see the creativity of all....smriti- loves make-up and hair styling, nayanika- loves reading the unconventinal books like 'difficult daughters', aditya- spent half of his school life playing sports n the other half into music (and writing poems that made sense only to him...ahem ahem), shirsha- writes amazing 'bengali' poems, anuj- commerce student who facilitated 'youthink' magazine for his campus, Thirumoy- script writer, simran- loves body art....many more to mention...but I think I should stop here!
To sum up, people from different walks of life made it an enjoyable experience!!

wow looks like we'll have an indian idol now.tell us wen to start voting!

We,at kolkata..attended the first meet for the correspondents..n trust me,IT ROCKED!!!:cheers:It hardly seemed like a meet..i had heard of sumthing like work-cum-play,but had a first hand experience of it today..Vineet n Aanchal had come to meet us,n they were very sweet and very approachable..they were hardly official....and to add to that,aanchal has written such cute stuff bout us..we got all the information n tips we need to work on this website,but also dabbled with amateurish acting as we played dumbcharade....aanchal though skipped it saying she's the judge...it was fun nevertheless..Like they say,first impression is the last impression..And this one will surely last forever..I,speakin for myself,cant wait to work on this website..wenz the site rollin out aanchal????n just a small thought...aanchal,ur bengali's improved...

@ Nayanika- Hey noyonika...theek acche?? I'd really want to learn bengali...i like learning new languages...anyway...i swear i had a great time with you all and hope to catch up soon....the site shud be up by the end of this month (tada tadi...lol) but the timeline shouldn't stop you from working on it...ur ideas and thoughts are most welcome and we'll try and implement them in every possible way!! So rock on!!!

@ Nandini- Don't worry nandini...delhi will be rocking now since the C18 team is back in town. You will surely get to enjoy the CRAZY CAMPUS18 meeting!! hehehe...

arrre yaar! who says kolkata "bhalo achhe"???? After those rains now the sun is shining so bright that things are being forced NOT to go right...especially during the exams!!!
But I MUST mention the meetings we had with Vineet and Aanchal! ROCKING YAAR!!! It was great fun! Even though my exams were on(infact they are STILL on) I made sure I attended both the meetings! It was strange that both our "guests" actually liked the weather that prevailed when they came,but given that they dont get to see or rather "feel" such romantic climate back in Delhi,its only justified!But yaar! tum log chale gaye aur monsoon be "soon" gayeb ho gaya! not fair!
Anyway! hope to more of you guys!

I'm doing fine Nayanika! We went to Victoria Memorial on our way back. It is a beautiful place, but we banged our car into some shop while it was parked there :lol!:
