i strongly belive that the very concept of the "i was being wat others wanted me to be".. is very grave and very relevant
we live in a society, which is in a way very cliched and has some extremely rigid sides. biggest drawback of that is we get moulded by them. the immediate result of that is.. loosing yourself, your identity, and failing to know yourself as an individual.
man is a social animal and the urge to be acccepted in the society is sometimes becomes so acute that it binds a person in the invisible chains and shackles. just to please the people around him, he tends to forget the very primary aspect of being an individual.
his work, his interests, his results are not what he himself wants to cultivate, but is just what the society wants him to do. he wants to be not what he himself is capable of but what others think he can be........
but in the whole process he forgets that all this is nothing but an illusion which gets deeper and deeper by the day.
people who seem to be sooo happy in your success, do not always care about you, cause they are the ones who will forget you, you when you fall, leave alone helping you.
and when you fall, all the illusion disappears and the dream is shattered. and then you realize that instead of "worshiping the truth".... you were just worshiping the people around you.
i feel that the to identify you true friends in this ocean of shallow people is one of the toughest challenges in anyone's life.
