Pretty late for a first blog!!... But I really wanted it to be something interesting, so I hope u guys understand! Embarassed

If I was a little girl of 5....

I would get wet in the rain
without worrying about catching a cold and missing college the next day

I would laugh at my grandfathers jokes and go for long walks with him
and make him a child once again

I would hold someone's hand or ask for their help
without feeling embarassed about it

I would love my mom's burnt cake
just because I knew she made it for me

I would look in the mirror and see Snow White
and not Bridget Jones

I would sleep holding a teddy bear to my chest
and not my cellphone

I would make a wish on a ladybird crawling on my arm
instead of trying to squash it

I would give my parents a goodnight kiss each
instead of coming home after they're fast asleep

I would wish to ride a butterfly like Thumbelisa
and not a private jet like Paris Hilton

I would give a lot more hugs and kisses
and a lot less of meaningless smiles

I would love more
and despise less

If I was a little girl of 5,

I would live more
and plan less.

i really like the end of your poem..you would live more and plan less. makes me look at my mundane life more closely..planning all the time like an iddiot...
