I Found You

For sometime I found myself lost,
Today you’ve helped me find myself.
For sometime I found myself broken,
Today you’ve helped me to get up again….

I could not smile,
Thinking of the tragic past.
I could only weep,
Thinking of what I’ve been through.

But now you have changed it all,
But now you have helped me rise from the fall.
You have brought me a reason to smile,
You have brought me a stream of happiness which will never run
dry………..

You stepped into my life,
And filled it with colors of joy.
You stepped into my life,
And gave me a reason to try.

It’s beautiful- the way you smile
It’s beautiful- when you have those expressions in your eyes.
You fill my thoughts day in night out
You fill my thoughts with love and smile throughout.

I see you as a friend,
I see you as a mate.
I see you as a reason,
I see you as my fate.

You might think that I am flirting with you,
But these are words I penned down as I thought about you.
You might think I’m in love with your beauty,
Yes its true- I love the beauty which lies within you…

hmm....... well most of the stuff that comes out from the heart is filled with love...as heart is filled with love(besides love).... but on a serious note.... poems like the one i have written are a simple jotting down the very next thought that comes into ur mind when u see somebody or something that inspires u.... and for a person to appreciate this kind of work...shows that the person has a beautiful river of thoughts flowing within him/her......

now you are been too sweet!!!!! any ways.... if u do want to find about the "river of thoughts"......... try writing........ dont think....just write on anything...... your computer, your doggie..... anything!!! that's the way i came up with my first poem...... i'll have to find it.... it was dumb..... but then u can get things corrected by ur frends and all the ppl who read the poem.....

and another thing...... it's not necessary to rhyme the lines.. that will come automatically.....
