the c18 site is too complicated!!!!!! admins please provide some help on how to tranfer our blogs from here to c18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Copy your blogs from campus18.forumotion and paste it in the blogs section in your profile on campus 18.com.. Its just that you have to copy and paste. If any more queries, shoot it here.

mmm... what bou the posts and threads started on this forum?? will the be transferred or u gotta do the old cpy and paste...

and yah.. does the registeration bit have to be done again??

what about all the replies and stuff.......... are they suppose to be copied as well!!!!!!!!!

okay guys..chill..relaxe..just spend a li'l more time and you'll undrstand..just like i did!!

1. you definitely have to register again, with your email id being your login id.

2. My room is the section that is totally yours. you see options like my profile, my blogs, my music, my photos there which is where you upload your stuff.

3. for photo blogs, if you click on edit here on the forum, you get the links here and hence you can copy it on the blogs section there (create a blog under photo blogs in this case)
. Haven't tried it yet so even i am nt too sure.

4. your blogs can easiyl be copied from here..simple copy and paste options will work. You have to create a personal blog, give it a name. Specify wat type of posts you'll add in that blog section and then keep adding new posts to taht blog section.

5. BE PATIENT!!! Ho jayega...mujhse ho gaya toh ki bhi kar sakta hai!!

guys,i think nikhita is quite right...when u spend more time on the site u will come to know more about it..so just go in and explore.
one more thing,the site is still in the beta stage..so it undoubtedly has some bugs in it..however we have to report any error or problems we face while navigating the site,so that the open version will be free of bugs and every error will be fixed.
so guys take ur time on the site and have patience,the site will be the coolest in no time.

i m not able to read msg in mah inbox yaar..

click onm the no(like 1,2,3..watever) beside the "msg" thing..it must open ur mail box.

Hey guys! Sorry for all the problems in uploading. Yes, unfortunately your blogs are not transferred automatically and you will have to create a new profile and copy-paste all your blogs etc.. which should not take too long

We are making a list of all the problems you are facing while uploading the content and we will review them by this weekend. Please keep posting suggestions on how to make the site function better. We obviously want to make it as user-friendly as possible, so kindly bear with us for some more time. . .

vineet...i can't refurnish my room..the next option in the pop up doesnt appear only!!

also...the music isn't playing smooth..breaks in between!

the music is being buffered naa... may be that's the reason for the problem!!!

even my refurnish option is not functioning...... it says i'm an invalid user!!

aare one of the things i did not like about the new format was that the process of reading other ppls blogs have become complicated........ i liked the forumotion format....... that way one could ahve easily checked out any one's blog and replied to him or her.....

cant we change the format of the site..... it would ahve been nice if we could just enter the forum and we could see who has posted wat!!!!!!!!
