An ode to my driving license …..

Ok so here’s a very bad attempt at writing a poem … I envy all of u guys who have a flair for this …. But ya this poem is dedicated to my license …



An ode to my driving license …..





Ive been thinking n thinking wt to blog about

Thought for sometime and finally figured it out:?:



For the struggle I went through to get my driving license I deserve a medal

for me it was lik crossing a major hurdle!



For most of u driving is a mania

To tell u d truth its my biggest phobia:affraid:



Thoughts of driving makes me go disoriented

For this my frnds think im totally demented



One morning ready n confident

I set off to get my license made



Overconfident n cocky I sit in the car

Adjust the mirror feeling like a star!



Start the car n put it in first gear

“Move forward” was all I needed to hear



Drove in a straight line

Twas a total piece of cake!



To stop d car i started to break

I suddenly realized my foolish mistake



Instead of breaking id hit the gas

BAM! The car hit a landmass!



The license guy stood there looking severe:shock:

Said d thing which still makes me shudder!

“sorry but ill have to flunk you”

He said d words I dreaded n already knew



Few months later I retook the test

This time they passed me .. I don’t jest!!

I was on cloud no. nine:D

That license was finally mine!



Hats off to all those who can drive

On d delhi roads its hard to survive

Evn after getting my precious license made

Id say d buses n metro r my best mates!

in bengali there is a term approprate for this
"guru fatafati".....
