She couldn’t believe it still. Her world had suddenly come crashing down. And her body went numb. Numb with disbelief. And her ears were filled with a weird buzzing sound. The sound just wont go away. Her eyes became like stone, open wide. With tears glistening at its sides. Her mind had temporarily stopped functioning..
But the people around her , mysteriously seemed unaware of this sudden change in her. They all seemed to be their same normal selves, laughing and chatting about their everyday mundane life. Quite unaware of the whirlpool of emotions that she was going through. She was drowning, drowning in pain, drowning, and speechless. The world seemed dizzy, and unreal. She must get out. It was not true! It couldn’t be.
The brain, sagging with the weight of this tortuous information, it was almost screaming in protest. People, now preparing for the next lecture. It was as if she was separated from them by this wall, they were two worlds all together. She tried to calm herself, how difficult it now seemed, to smile. To exchange sentences. How jumbled the world seemed. And how difficult it seemed to walk past this wall and join the sane crowd.. How unbelievably impossible it now was, to be normal. Her face seemed to be made of lead, it just wouldn’t relax and change its expressions. It just wouldn’t. People inquired, she was amazed at her lying skills.
The world seemed to be swimming again, the sudden slip of the picture from her book must have done it again. She looked at it, and tried to keep it back in a hurry. But somehow, her actions were mysteriously slowed down by some force, inside her. people around her were gliding, she could not see any jerky moments, and the colours were hurting her eyes. DARK pink, PIERCING red, BLINDNING yellow. The kaleidoscope of these startling colours made her close her eyes in fright. Her eyes seemed so tired. They seemed so old. So much they had witnessed. And so much more had yet to come. Eyes. She had seen so many beautiful set of eyes, but none like THOSE…those eyes had magic. Had warmth. Had wisdom. Had love. LOVE.
she was falling. Fallin in darkness. But the darkness was kind. Was humming a soft, beautiful tune. Was guiding her to some unknown world of .peaceful darkness. The beautiful humming was giving her peace, it was almost spiritual. It was taking her away.. away.. Away from this pain of ..hearbreaks.
