AFRAID

i am afraid ,
of truths that touch my heart,
i am afraid ,
of things that make me feel,
i am afraid,
of things said when we part,
those words that never heal.

i am afraid,
of feeling so naive,
i am afraid,
of feeling sensitivity,
i am afraid,
of doing things that keep alive,
whats left of our dignity.

i am afraid,
i shall make you feel,
i am afraid we will share memories,
i am afraid,
that we can go that deep,
like stormy unending seas.

i am afraid,
to say what i an say,
i am afraid,
i don't know where it shall take me,
i am afraid,
of asking these questions this way,
i am afraid they might make an eternity...

good work...reflects the truth,,,,well written....

is it introspective......(i would like to know)???? it does reflect some degree of honesty.....fears honestly do drve our decisions and often blind us.....a good choice of topic and certainly well articulated.

temme is it a reflection of ur personality also?? cuz if it is dude u have a lotta fears and phobias to take care of!!

you might say that it reflects my fear of being vulnerable to the vagaries of a heart that feels and reflects too much...
