LOVE
Love is a universal, immortal emotion. It is not a visible phenomenon. It can neither be analysed nor be dissected; it can only be experienced. Love remains an enigma even today. I have tried to explain it in the following passage:
We often confuse love with sex. Love is not for one who seeks pleasure; love is not a means to satisfy one's needs, aspirations and ambitions. Treating the beloved as an object for one's sexual gratification has often been prompted by films and other popular media images. This is not to say that sex is a sin or that sex should be kept away from love. On the contrary sexual attraction has more than often provided to be a stepping stone towards love. Sexual acts (including touching, caressing, kissing etc.) can be a means of expressing one's love. The important point, however, lies in the person's attitude. One can view the acts, on one hand, as the means of getting pleasure and, on the other hand, as a means of giving pleasure: as a way of expressing one's love. The diffrence between the two views lies as the diffrence between a loving intercourse and a rape. The former concentrates on giving without any consideration of getting back, whereas the latter focuses more on the selfish desire to snatch pleasure for oneself without giving away anything.
What baffles me the most is the fact that once a man loves a woman or vice versa, demands immediately enter, demands that require the lover to be perfect and this perfection intern demands for consumption of a part of mind and time. To flow and grow in love needs no perfection and no demands. Why should one drop all his/her limitations to prove to his/her lover that he/she is perfect for her/him. True love is that in which you expect nothing from your partner/lover. It involves transcending one's own self and giving, giving that satisfies your mind and soul, giving wothout the perception of getting anything in return.
One sees today an exhibitionist tendency in erotic love. It is almost a fashion to 'fall in love'. A school going teenager is under pressure from his peers to 'fall in love' with a suitable girl and vice versa. A girl-friend or a boy-friend intuitively becomes somewhat like an indispensable medal that one 'needs' to display prominently. Beauty, fashion, family, riches, good clothes and muscular body add to the value of the medal. The fashionable, exhibitionist display of love that one sees on Valentine's Day and in posh joints is an ignominy/disgrace, and is aptly called as falling in love. "True love involves no fall and is an elevating experience that raises one to a devine plane."

i think love is an unidentifiable emotion...luv is an emotion which evryone must exprience once....i luved him like anything.....luved him frm the bottom of my heart....even now when we two have parted our ways....i luv him...n dont know when i will stop luvng him......

It's so damn strange! Somehow you lose your sense of judgement and reason and do thinks so stupid, something your friends might never make you do! You forgive and forget something you would have held a grudge on, if it was someone else!
