Alternative Rock Rocks... or maybe not???

Give your opinion on whether alternative rock can dominate the choicelist of GenZ... Do you think bands like GreenDay and Coldplay have what it takes to overcome the craze of Nazal King Himesh Reshamia, or would you still rather listen to something else...

I personally think alternative rock rocks... new styles of music are introduced which are more rebelious and have broken the grounds of which plain music stands on..

well i like alternative rock too....bands like goo goo dolls, coldplay, green day, hinder......i really like them...its really tough to establish urself goin lil outta league...but they have huge fan following now...

change is just what music needs...indian tunes are getting repetetive...

agree dude...music needs change...but u no, though m not very much into bollywood music, but i ve heard quite a lotta good hindi songs lately...wat say??..

yes.. dats true.. its not that all indian music is bad... old is always gold... although not very fond of remixes... and music directors like Shankar Ehsaan Loy and AR Rahman are really making the best there can be... but yet..
Indian music is tarnished by the tag of copyright( the right ot copy) music

coldplay....though my fav band is u2 and lotta ppl consider them an alternative band, which is so not true....so i d go for..COLDPLAY

alternative rock is the most popular with gen x because other genres keep getting complex one way or the other.



PS: most of the alternative rock bands are a lethal combination of lyrics n riffs, but few manage to comprehend...
now who knew that coldplay came up with 'yellow' after having a look at the yellow pages..??
and all this time you were going gaga over the depth of that song!!
